About Us

Institute for Prevention provides comprehensive services for at risk children and their families.The Institute for Prevention has been providing comprehensive services for at-risk children and their families as well as training programs for individuals, agencies and corporations for close to twenty years.

Our programs include: Project T.A.L.K., a program designed to help children ages 6-14 who are affected by substance abuse enhance their social skills; Project MORE, designed to address the many challenges facing Ocean County adolescents, ages 13-21; professional and personal development training programs; corporate and individual tobacco dependence treatment and wellness programs;  and the DART Coalition of Ocean County which aims to engage Ocean County residents in the process of reducing substance abuse within the County.

The Institute maintains over $1M in grant funding, offers 10 different programs throughout the State of New Jersey and has a staff of 15 professionals.
