Why should I stop smoking?

NICOTINE is a powerful drug found in all tobacco products. It is a highly addictive drug like cocaine and heroin.

Tobacco smoke contains over 4,000 chemicals in addition to nicotine. Some of the toxic chemicals found in tobacco smoke are known to cause cancer.

Over 400,000 Americans die each year from smoking-related illnesses — more than from AIDS, alcohol/drug abuse, fires, car accidents, suicides and homicides combined.

Second-hand smoke is an environmental hazard to non-smokers and especially harmful to children. Over 50,000 Americans die each year from illnesses caused by second-hand smoke.

I have tried to quit smoking many times and have been unsuccessful!

Tobacco Dependence Treatment ProgramIT IS HARD TO QUIT SMOKING!
Many people will quit several (5-7) times before quitting for good. Fifty percent of all smokers will make a concerted effort to quit this year.

Why should I try again?
Our program recognizes the difficulty in stopping tobacco use. Therefore, we offer a comprehensive treatment service utilizing all of the latest research.

I have never tried to stop smoking!
Whether you have tried to quit before or are considering stopping tobacco use for the first time, we can assist you.

How many sessions do I need?
Because each person is unique, the number of sessions needed will vary from individual to individual.
