Smoking Cessation Programs for Employees

Tobacco treatment for employees is being offered through The Institute for Prevention, Saint Barnabas Behavioral Health, Tobacco Dependence Treatment Program .

Quit-meetings will be offered at every location with flexible times to accommodate different shifts.

Tobacco Dependency Treatment is available for ALL Saint Barnabas Health Care System Employees and their dependants.

Each person will receive a customized quit smoking plan to meet their individual needs The employee will then attend an 8 week-quit program at no cost.

Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT), including the patch, gum or lozenges will be available free during the 8 week program and for an additional 4 weeks. After the 12th week NRT will be available at a discounted rate. Prescription tobacco cessation medications will also be available without co pay and with no caps for all who are enrolled in the program.

For Family Members of Employees
Tobacco Treatment Services will be offered free of charge to any member of the employee’s household who attends the
quit-meetings with the employee.
