Colleen Verriest received her Bachelors degree in English and Psychology from Rutgers University in 2000. She then pursued her Master's of Social Work at New York University in 2003 with a concentration on clinical practice with children and families. She has been involved with the field of prevention since 2001. Colleen has been in direct practice with children and families for five years. Her experience in the field of prevention began with the implementation of a violence prevention/conflict resolution program to second grade students in high risk school districts. She is currently a Prevention Specialist with Project T.A.L.K. in Keansburg, NJ.
