Crystal S. Long obtained her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and Bachelors of Arts in Sociology from New Jersey City University. Crystal is a Prevention Specialist for the Saint Barnabas Behavioral Health Network's Institute for Prevention. She Co- facilitates Project T.A.L.K. at University Middle School in Irvington, NJ and McKinley Elementary School in Newark, NJ. At both sites she works with children, parents and school staff to help develop a productive and safe environment.
Crystal has been working with children for the past nine years. Prior to joining the Institute for Prevention, she worked at Les Enfant Preschool as a Pre-K teacher. She was also an educational Coordinator for a Jersey City after school program where she created curriculums, coordinated activities and co-facilitated a mentor program.
