Laura Kale obtained her Bachelors of Arts degree in Secondary Education/Communication from LaSalle University and Master of Science degree from Western Maryland College. She has had the opportunity to work in various fields with an eclectic clientele for more than ten years. Laura's professional experience has included work as a Family Therapist for a drug/alcohol rehabilitation center, a Vocational Counselor for women returning to the workforce, a Rape Crisis Counselor, and a Tutor for deaf and special needs students. She was employed as a high school English and SAT prep teacher prior to entering the counseling arena.
Laura has worked on the Project T.A.L.K. grant since its commencement at the Institute for Prevention. Currently, she implements the program for sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students at Long Branch Middle School in Monmouth County in addition to working as a Strengthening Families program facilitator in Monmouth and Ocean County.
