Lisa Osborn

Lisa Osborn possesses both a Bachelors and a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University.  As an undergraduate she received the Laurie Shavel Award for the most outstanding student in the psychology department and was honored in the Who’s Who in American Colleges & Universities in 1992.  She was awarded a graduate assistantship during her Master’s degree training and graduated Summa Cum Laude.  


She has worked in the field of mental health for more than 15 years. She first worked with adolescents and their families at Ocean’s Harbor House, a youth crisis shelter in Ocean County. She then returned for her master’s degree, during which time, she engaged in play therapy with brain injured children in a Cognitive Remediation program run through Children’s Specialized Hospital.  For over nine years, she worked in Newark at Integrity House, a long-term residential drug treatment program as the Dual Diagnosis coordinator for substance abusers who also suffer from mental health conditions.  She also worked with their families and has been a facilitator for Saint Barnabas’ Strengthening Families Program for the last two years.

She currently works as a Prevention Specialist III20 for the Institute’s Project T.A.L.K. program at HOPE Academy, a charter school in Asbury Park, NJ.
