Mark Firth

Mark Firth graduated from William Paterson University with a BA in the field of Humanities and Social Sciences. He has trained hundreds of resource parents (foster and adoptive) for the Division of Youth and Family Services. Mark also assisted in opening, evaluating, and maintaining foster/adoptive homes in NJ. He facilitated Family Group Conferencing, a modality focused on families working as a unit to reunify children in the child welfare system with their birth families.

Mark is currently working as a Prevention Specialist at Hope Academy Charter School in Asbury Park teaching life skills to at-risk children. providing in-home support to families in need. He works with Project Connect, providing in-home support to families in need. He also provides support to Strengthening Families and the Parenting an Athlete program.
